I am a seasoned professional with 27 years of sales and customer service experience. My background is IT and Tech, helping companies to connect and share information. Early on, this was as a sysadmin for Journalism and Insurance offices, creating users and maintaining the network. When the internet happened, my career switched to information architecture and graphical user interface design. Receiving and Inventory Control Manager: Sam Brown Sales and Hi-Tech Industries [now]
Responsibilities include handling inbound freight and transferring it to the proper warehouse bin location or locations, reallocating inventory within the warehouse as needed, and ultimately become involved in and managing the replenishment path for many or all of our products. As we navigate the move to the new Warehouse, you will be in charge of ensuring that the warehouse (racking and otherwise) is set up according to our mutual planning and that items are properly placed by bin location as they arrive.

Editor in Chief: Positive Living News [1985-1993]
Leveraged skills gained as a college-trained journalist, I rose in the organization to the highest position on the staff. Included interviewing, copywriting and editing. As editor-in-chief, the position centered on keeping both the staff and the freelance team focused and on meeting a strict daily deadline. These skills are utilized today as a content creator throughout my tech career and as the author of a few regular blogs.
